Omnichannel messaging and eCommerce marketing automation platform

Cart abandonment is one of the biggest issues for anyone who sells online. Digital marketers, strategists, analysts and e-commerce specialists are constantly looking for ways to reduce it. The cart abandonment rate greatly depends on the industry, and according to Statista’s data from 2022, it ranges between 50% to 98%. There are a number of reasons why people don’t complete their purchase, including high shipping costs, unexpected fees, a customer changing their mind about the order, or simply getting distracted, leaving the website, and then making the purchase elsewhere. Regardless of the cause, it is a major problem for online retailers – recent studies show that cart abandonment leads to an estimated $18 billion in lost sales each year (Shopify). There are a number of things you can do to encourage shoppers to complete their purchases. If you're searching for a way to drive more sales and encourage more people to proceed with the order, Rakuten Viber for Business could be the perfect solution.
