Omnichannel messaging and eCommerce marketing automation platform

The holiday season is prime time for advertisers, but it’s also a highly competitive window. With consumers bombarded by offers, brands need sharper targeting, creative messaging, and streamlined workflows to stand out. This can be even more challenging if you’re a small or medium-sized business with a limited budget and big goals, which is exactly where Viber Ads Manager comes in. Our self-serve platform is built to help SMBs launch, manage, and optimize ads easily, whether you’re a seasoned marketer or just getting started. That means faster campaign launches, even during the busiest time of year. Read on to learn our top tips for making the most of your advertising on Viber this holiday season.
1. Start early and stay ahead
It’s tempting to wait until the holiday rush kicks in, but starting early gives you higher chances of increased conversions. Start building your campaigns before the shopping frenzy begins so you have time to test, tweak, and learn what resonates with your audiences.Roll out teaser, main, and last-chance phases rather than using up your full budget at once. This lets you test what messaging or creatives resonate before scale. And because many advertisers target the same high-demand slots during holidays, securing ad inventory early can help you avoid premium inflation or inventory scarcity.
2. Know who you’re talking to
Everyone’s in buying mode during the holidays, but not everyone’s buying the same thing. So the magic of advertising that works lies in targeting the right people at the right time. With Viber Ads Manager, you can narrow your audience by age group, gender, and city/region. Making sure your audiences see only the deals relevant to them can increase click-through rates and conversions. If you want to take it one step further, you can set up an advanced Viber 360 campaign with our team, giving you advanced targeting options. For instance, you can target users who have recently clicked on deals or coupons to increase response rates. Or combine demographics and interests to build niche campaigns, such as segmenting customers based on gift-givers versus self-shoppers or by categories like fashion, tech, and toys.
3. Make your creatives count
Holiday ads have one job: to make people stop scrolling.Lean into the festive vibe with warm colors, cheerful visuals, and concise copy that feels joyful but still clear. Think: “Wrap up your holiday shopping early!” or “Limited-time offers to make your season brighter.”If you’re testing multiple versions, play with small differences. Sometimes a simple tweak can double your engagement.
4. Optimize as you go
The best part of Viber Ads Manager is that you don’t have to “set it and forget it.” You can see your campaign’s performance in real time, such as impressions, CTR, and spend pacing. If results are low, make adjustments rather than pausing too quickly. For example, if one creative is outperforming the rest, shift your budget toward it. If your audience is getting ad fatigue, refresh your visuals and copy. You’ll find that a few quick changes can make a big difference, especially during high-traffic periods like Black Friday and the week before New Year’s Eve.
5. Think beyond a single ad
The holidays are busy, but they’re also an opportunity to build relationships beyond one-off sales.Instead of disappearing when the season’s done, use what you’ve learned to re-engage your audience in the new year with post-holiday sales, loyalty offers, or “thanks for shopping with us” messages. You can also explore Viber Advertising Solutions with our team to set up retargeting options. For example, if someone engages with your ad but doesn’t convert right away, you can retarget them with a follow-up offer or a friendly reminder, or cross-promote your products based on their previous purchases.
Boost your holiday ads on Viber
Viber Ads Manager was built to make advertising simple, flexible, for small and medium-sized businesses that want big results. Our goal is to give you all the tools you need to make this your best holiday campaign yet, and to reach your audience in a place they already know and trust.Sign up for Viber Ads Manager to:

create and launch ads quickly

fine-tune your targeting

monitor performance in real time and optimize on the go

scale up effortlessly when the season peaks

Make the most of the season—one ad, one chat, and one happy customer at a time.
