May 20th was the start of the future of Viber in Athens, Greece, where our team met with trusted partners and clients to unravel the ecosystem we’ll soon be able to experience within the super app.

Our Chief Revenue Officer, Cristina Constandache, and Chief Product Officer, Nadav Melnick, took the stage to showcase what Viber can look like in the future. More than just a messaging app – Viber has built a robust ecosystem for brand and consumer interactions.

The debut of Viber Dating in Greece set the stage for our leaders to unveil the app’s developing capabilities - from immersive advertising experiences to rich business messaging solutions. They showcased what this streamlined customer journey will look like on Viber and how easy it can be for brands to set it up.

Among the new solutions mentioned were our recently launched Viber List and Carousel Messages:

  • Carousel Messages let businesses across multiple industries showcase up to five scrollable cards in one message, enriched with CTA buttons. With these messages, brands can share bundle promotions, product recommendations, limited-time offers, new arrivals, and more, while users can easily choose and purchase what interests them most.
  • List Messages present users with up to five predefined options they can tap to respond - ideal for quick actions like booking confirmations, delivery scheduling, and feedback collection.

Guests had the chance to experience these new features first-hand through our live demo. They were encouraged to make a purchase through our carousel message and pick up their items at our on-site pop-up store. After they picked up their purchase, they received a list message asking them to rate their experience.
