Event recap: RESHAPE

RESHAPE, the world's largest leadership and experience virtual summit took place on September 15 - 16 2021 and Rakuten Viber's Chief Growth Officer Anna Znamenskaya held a panel delving into customer experience and brand engagement in the time of information overload of the post-COVID world. In her Impact session, she shared what matters most to the audiences in order to stay loyal to brands.

The second edition of the event brought together a community of 10K+ attendees and over 100 top names from world-famous companies such as IKEA, Unilever, Google, Rakuten Viber, Booking.com, Pepsico, HSBC, and many more, along with the star speaker, the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.

Together with her guest speakers Enric Llopart, Digital Director at FC Barcelona, and Edward Partridge, Senior Corporate Partnership Manager at WWF they agreed that the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly accelerated the transition to digital channels and increased users’ demand for personalized content with interactive opportunities. Both FC Barcelona and WWF are long-standing champions of digital communications, and Viber long-term partners. They have fully utilized the power of social engagement on the platform by launching their branded stickers to either convert users to engage with chatbots or join communities, where both the products offer various engaging features. Chatbots, for example, could be utilized for personalized quizzes, games, and donations, while communities are a fruitful channel for getting a message out loud and promoting the user to join a cause, get the latest news or learn more about a topic, such as wild tigers preservation.
